Ozzy Osbourne aims for new album in 2024

Fans of Ozzy Osbourne know by now that the legendary rocker’s days of touring are (mostly) over due to lingering health issues. But that isn’t stopping the former Black Sabbath icon, as he’s announced work on a new album… and he’d like to take it on tour.

“I’m just starting to work on (a new album) now,” admitted Osbourne. “We’ll be recording in the early part of next year.” This new LP would be the follow-up to 2022’s “Patient Number 9.” Osbourne also released “Ordinary Man” in 2020.”

And while Osbourne says he wants “to take my time with this one,” he does admit he’s itching to get back out there. Once this album is recorded, the “War Pigs” singer wants to “go back on the road.”
