An iconic West Michigan business is closing for good.

WOOD TV reports Sporting goods store Al & Bob’s is closing after more than 50 years.

The report indicates the owner is ready to spend more time with his family and “have adventures of his own.”

He also mentioned the struggles of running an outdoors store in the age of the internet and digital marketing.
