Two founding members of The Guess Who are suing a current iteration of the band.

Burton Cummings and Randy Bachman are taking two former members of the OG band, bassist Jim Kale (who was said to be fired in 1972) and drummer Garry Peterson, to a Los Angeles court for allegedly duping fans into buying tickets to see the whole band.

The OGs also claim Kale and Peterson have been actively changing imagery on Spotify and Apple Music to reflect the “cover band” to boost their sales and are using Guess Who music without permission. Cummings and Bachman are asking for more than $20 million in damages.
