Sammy Hagar has revealed that the chances of David Lee Roth joining the Best of All Worlds tour are slim, as Roth has gone “AWOL” after an offer was made for them to tour together.
The tour, featuring Hagar, Michael Anthony, Jason Bonham, and Joe Satriani, kicked off in July and will conclude in August. Despite featuring Van Halen tracks, it is not labeled as a tribute tour, as original members are not involved.
Hagar expressed openness to Roth joining for a song or two, but Roth’s response remains uncertain. The two have a history of touring together, but Hagar has been critical of Roth’s personality in the past.
