Rolling Stones’ bassist Darryl Jones will be performing at Hope College in a special jazz concert titled “An evening of Jazz: A tribute to Duke Ellington” on Saturday at 7 p.m.
The event, held at Hope’s Concert Hall, is open to the public with free admission. Jones, known for his work with the Rolling Stones, Miles Davis, and Sting, will join the school’s jazz ensembles for the performance.
Hope College will feature three ensembles during the concert: the Jazz Arts Collective, Jazz Guitar Combo, and Steps Ahead Jazz Combo.
