It’s been a long, long time – decades, in fact – since we’ve heard a new song from Peter Gabriel. But the wait is nearly over.

Gabriel shared a few seconds of a new song called “Panopticon” in a short video teasing his upcoming album I/O and 2023 tour.

Gabriel said he’s “excited about the idea of taking a lot of new material with me out on the road”.

Gabriel’s last full album of original material was 2002’s Up, released twenty years ago.
