“Demonic” dog drawing applicants at Muskegon-area animal shelter

An odd strategy by an animal shelter in Muskegon seems to be working.

WOOD TV reports The Noah Project in Fruitport township posted a revealing description about an old chihuahua that’s been at the shelter for almost three months.

“We don’t want to lie to you guys and tell you that he’s a sweet little boy who loves everyone and everything, because he doesn’t. Not many people want a 10-year neurotic, old ornery man.”

“Every day when we see him we feel the wrath of his hellscape. We greet him with a soft and gentle tone, it doesn’t help.”

Since they created the post, the shelter has received multiple applicants for Link, the chihuahua. The idea came from another shelter that did something similar with one of their pets.
