Sammy Hagar is known for music and alcohol, tequila specifically.

However, he’s getting into the craft beer business. According to the Detroit Free Press, Hagar is launching a new beer called Red Rocker Lager, which is made here in Detroit Rock City through his relatively new Red Rocker Brewing Co., based in Canton.

It’s being brewed in Corktown at the Brew Detroit facility.

The report describes ‘Red Rocker Lager’ as a Mexican-style lager with a 4.3% ABV. On the can, it’s described as “a crisp, easy-drinking, lager brewed in the Mexican style.”
