A mysterious dark object spotted floating in the air in West Michigan last Friday has sparked widespread curiosity and speculation.

FOX 17 reported people first spotting the object in the Byron Center/Wyoming area.

Descriptions of the object varied, with some likening it to a “big black floating bag” or a “rectangle-shaped” entity.

Social media erupted with theories, ranging from a drone to a glitch in the matrix and even an alien invasion.

While some believe it was a giant kite, others remain skeptical, questioning the origin of the unusual object. The Kent County Sheriff’s Office stated they did not receive any reports regarding the mysterious aerial sighting.
