On Sunday, the Kansas City Chiefs pulled off a comeback of amazing proportions, coming back from a 24-0 deficit to score an appearance in the AFC Championship. The final score of the game: 51-31.
At least one fan didn’t see the big rally. Charles Penn, a Chiefs fan, wrote on social media that he left the game in the first quarter when the Texans had gained a 21-0 lead over his team. Claiming he felt like he was bad luck for the Chiefs, Penn wrote, “I’m outta here so we can get the second-half comeback going.”
After hearing Penn’s story from a reporter on Monday, quarterback Patrick Mahomes had just one thing to say to the fan: “Watch the next game at home.”
